The dissertation "The Church and Freemasonry in Bulgaria in the First Half of the 20th Century (Theological-Apologetic Study)" consists of 269 pages and contains: a preface, an introduction, four chapters, a conclusion, eleven appendices, a table and a general bibliography, titles. The subject of this study is the genesis and the subsequent development of the relations between the Church and Freemasonry in Bulgaria in the first half of the 20th century. Among the main reasons for my choice is the lack of clarity about freemasonry and its development in the first half of the twentieth century in Bulgaria, and in particular its relations with the Bulgarian Orthodox Church during that period. And the suspicions that representatives of the Orthodox clergy are attracted to his ideas. The present study is my modest contribution to "illuminating" some of the events that are unknown to most of us. My aim is to explain the true nature, principles and ideology of Freemasonry in Bulgaria (and worldwide); and to point out the entrances of a part of the higher Orthodox clergy in the first half of the twentieth century to freemasonry and, accordingly, to point out, on the basis of the analysis, what is in fact Freemasonry.
