Susan Drummond explores a series of philosophic, ethnographic and legal dilemmas produced by the interaction between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal legal cultures, setting up a dialogue between narrative and theory by interspersing accounts of her field experiences in Inuit communities with analytical chapters."
