The dissertation is based on an empirical study researching the role of free movement of persons in the formation of European identity. It builds a comprehensive theoretical framework and it develops a qualitative methodology, respectively in the first and in the second chapter. In the third chapter the dissertation makes its contribution through presenting different models of European identity. In Findings and Discussions, which is the last chapter, the issues of sovereignty, European security and European values are discussed. |
