Subject of the thesis is Jewellery Production in South Thrace and the Aegean during the Early Bronze Age. The study is based on archaeological materials parts of which have been in scientific circulation but a number of unpublished monuments and structures are also enlisted. The thesis first contribution is the gathering and the classification of the available archaeological material on the subject. Secondly, an attempt to clarify the position of Thrace in the jewellery production in comparison with the Aegean Bronze Age. |
