The development of new technologies and global digitalization in the 21st century have significantly changed the appearance of entertainment industry worldwide. This is a result of both the current transformations in the communication and media environment, as well as the constant innovations in the means and methods of content creation. Due to the social characteristics of the generations that could be described as „digital“, the role of non-verbal communication is increasing. This dissertation is dedicated to the art of modern music as part of it and explores the ways in which contemporary festival and club electronic music has lasting effects on the image of international mass culture, thereby influencing communication. The points of intersection between art and technology are considered as a peculiar expression of human creativity and a way of promoting universal cultural evolution. One of the few studies available in the field of 2010s popular music is being undertaken. |
