The phenomenon of differences in people's functional specialization of the brain and handedness provoked for years the interest of many scientific disciplines, related to the structures and functions of the brain in particular and human evolution and intelligence in general. Functional brain asymmetry and handedness exist in primates, but have not developed to such an extent as in humans. Most - probable cause of the unique organization of cortical functions in humans is very onset of language and speech. Despite numerous scientific studies, there is no direct data why there is lateralization of language and how it is implemented, once in the course of evolution the human organism is formed on the principle of the dual symmetry. On the other hand, since lateralization of language is a fundamental principle in the operation of the speech functional system, it is logical that its distortion would cause speech and language disorders. The relationship between impaired lateralization and some forms of speech pathology has been discussed since the beginning of the century. However still no consensus among researchers about the nature and mechanisms of variation in the organization of the hemisphere interaction in specific forms of speech pathology. Date remains the need for intensive research and development of adequate therapeutic interventions to overcome the difficulties in communication with the environment and science - theoretical explanations for the pathogenesis of brain mechanisms underlying the language - speech disorders. In fact, these two research aspects, covered in the thesis, are strongly correlated, because it is impossible to make effective treatment of the speech and language process, without the necessary theoretical knowledge about the brain mechanisms, which underlie its organization.
This work analyzes the relationship between the functional hemisphere language specialization and the Handedness in Ontogenesis for both genders in norm and by Specific language disorders, being compared with one dimension of the language functions, namely - the phonological abilities.
