Резюме: The thesis is structured in two parts. In the first part, various surface-sensitive techniques are employed to study the interactions of amino acids glycine (Gly) and phenylglycine (PheGly) with solid water adsorbed on to ultrathin films of alumina grown on NiAl(110) surfaces. This part starts with surface science investigations of the adsorption of the individual components of the layered systems, i.e. amino acids and water, on NiAl(110) and on AlOx/NiAl(110) surfaces. After that, the chemical state of amino acid molecules in contact with water layers, the morphology of the differently prepared nanolayer architectures and the kinetics of water sublimation are thoroughly explored. The second part of the thesis contains temperature-dependent scanning-transmission X-ray microspectroscopy (STXM) examination of phase-change core-shell acrylic microcapsules and characterization of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) based microbubbles (MBs) and microcapsules (MCs) in aqueous environment. This part starts with the explanation of the STXM principle and the description of the setup. In the following, the results obtained in STXM characterization of PVA-based MCs and MBs in aqueous environment are given. A quantitative analysis of the STXM transmittance profiles of MBs is performed in order to improve the resolution. After that, temperature-dependent STXM investigation of phase-change core-shell acrylic MCs is presented. Soft X-ray induced radiation damage of the latter MCs is also studied. The main conclusions are presented at the end of the thesis.
