The title of the dissertation is named after the series “The Sonic Icons of Bulgaria”-anthology of Bulgarian folklore by Bulgarian composer Stefan Dragostinov. The author of the dissertation crated a new singing method using the series in order to improve the process of learning and performing traditional songs, which also includes warming up exercises. As a practical addition to this new methodology, the author drew up “Complex of new techniquets for a vocal posture” based on Bulgarian traditional songs and intonations, with the main goal of over mastering the elements of the vocal technique and accomplish an authentic sound. |
