Резюме: The dissertation is focused only on part of the contemporary biomedical problems, as the area covered by bioethics is extremely wide and cannot be covered within one such study. There are three important topics - assisted reproduction, abortion and euthanasia. What is common among the three of them is that they are related to threatening or taking away human life, with the first being at a very early stage (the withdrawal of human life takes place in the selection of embryos), the second – at a later stage, and the third – at the last part of human life. All three are related to serious moral dilemmas. It is about taking away a human life that is done legally, under medical supervision and at a hospital. Hence, many questions arise about the beginning of life, its end, and especially the human interference in these processes. The question as to what extent such interference is ethical and to what extent it is permissible is rаised. The problems of assisted reproduction, abortion and euthanasia are considered in the light of Christian morality. The main thesis that the study defends is: Human life is a high value. And no matter what technology we own and use, we - the people, do not have the right to dispose of human life - neither in the womb nor out of it, nor at the beginning of life, nor at the end of it. Only God can interfere in human life. The decision to begin and end human life, belongs only to God. This thesis is defended by analyzing each of the three practices. This analysis is made from a life, medical, ethical and theological point of view. Some medical and theological documents, as well as declarations of various churches with opinions on the topics, are discussed and analyzed for this purpose.
