The dissertation deals with issues related to the cardinal change of the audiovisual sector and consisting of globalization and convergence in the media system, digital television, which has shifted the weight of the platforms terrestrial transmitters, cable and satellite, the development of the Internet, which is increasingly imposing the online platform as a leader in disseminating content. These issues are also considered in the context of the legal, socio-cultural and economic nature of the issue of transfer of broadcasting and transmishion rights of a television program. The survey outlines a wide-format framework of rights to broadcast and disseminate a television program by Bulgarian TV organizations and platform operators. The emphasis is on the active penetration of digital technologies in the modern audiovisual sector, in particular television, which has dramatically expanded its capabilities, communication skills, applied exploitation but also posed challenges related to satisfying needs and access to information and cultural goods of the audience, in the context of respecting copyright and related rights and the opportunities for balanced protection of the public interest. |
