Резюме: The timeliness of the topic is based on the following facts: The social policy in the country is aimed at deinstitutionalizing the care for children and the development of the revealed social services in the community. One of the aims of these services is prevention of child abandonment by providing psychosocial assistance to parents at risk. The Resilience Approach in turn provides an optimistic concept for dealing with people experiencing severe traumatic situations by supporting individual protective factors in each case. The link between the social pedagogue's competences in providing social services to parents at risk of separation from their children through the resilience approach could give a new look at help that has a lasting effect on people.
