The dissertation presents a complete and comprehensive study of the ordinary legislative procedure as the main procedure for the implementation of the legislative competence of the EU after the Treaty of Lisbon, and analyses the supranational authoritative nature of the European integration process. The first two chapters of the dissertation examine the theoretically important question of the authoritative nature and the legislative competence of the EU. In order to prove that the EU is a power- organized social community, which has a particular and specific legislative competence, a historical overview is performed, out of which arguments are derived to support the thesis that the reform is not the result but the essence of European integration. The analysis performed in Chapters Three, Four, Five and Six of the technology and the specifics of the ordinary legislative procedure, as the main procedure for the implementation of the legislative competence of the EU, is exhaustive and contains conclusive empirical observations and statistical data
