The dissertation explores the agro-climatic conditions along the valleys of Mesta, Struma and Vardar. The aim of the dissertation is to reveal the trends in the fluctuations of the agro-climatic conditions in the valleys of Mesta, Struma and Vardar. The following tasks have been addressed to achieve the goal: 1. Processing and analysis of available/accessible data from climate stations in the area under consideration. 2. Clarify the relationship between climate and agroclimate. 3. Disclosure of chronological changes in thermal conditions and humidity conditions in the studied areas. 4. A detailed regionalization, according to the Köppen classification, of the studied areas on the basis of the current temperature and humidity was made and the chronological changes of the indices during the studied period were followed. The scientific and applied contributions in this dissertation can be summarized as follows: 1. An assessment has been made of climate change along the 3 river banks located in the territory of more than one country in the central part of the Balkan Peninsula. 2. The influence of climate change on the agro-climatic indicators characterizing the conditions for growing of different crops was determined. 3. On the basis of calculated 30-year rolling average, climatic fluctuations and changes in the indexes according to the classification of Kопепен, which was completed by Ristevski, were registered. 4. A comparative analysis was made for the investigated territories of two of the most used methods for determining the evaporability - by Ivanov and Thorntway, with significant differences in the results. 5. The significance of the resolution of the geographic map in the mapping of territories according to the Köpenic classification was established.
