The dissertation is based on the theoretical guidelines for vocational guidance, career guidance, the educational environment and the philosophical-theoretical concepts of "non-formal education" and "lifelong learning". Object of the empirical study are adolescents attending non-formal education institutions, their parents, the specialists who work with them, as well as career consultants from 27 career centers in Bulgaria. The empirical study involved a total of 560 people surveyed. It is based on the survey method. The data are processed by statistical methods and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results confirm the potential of non-formal educational environment for the realization of the vocational and career guidance services. Based on the empirical data, the dissertation proposed a conceptual model for vocational and career orientation for adolescents in non-formal educational environment. |
