The main characteristics of two strategies of organizational change are being analyzed in the report – total quality management (TQM) and strategy of enterprise resource planning (ERP). The research objectives are the application models of those two strategies in the organizational practices. The main target is to identify the critical factors of success in the implementation process. The focus lies on the organizational effectiveness and the role of TQM philosophy in improving of ERP systems. The common between these instruments is that they are used by many organizations in the projection process of organizational perfection, culture change, mission and outbound links, as well as in various spheres of industry.
