The reisaproportional, significal correlation (CramerV = 0,414) between the social origin and the chances for achieving a management career. The social origin has a predictive character for the management success. While a middle management career is easy to achieve for the one with origin from the working and middle class, so for the high management their chances are limited. The one with origin from the upper class occupies very often the highest management positions. These results are in agreement as with the Bourdieu thesis for the clture capital and social reproduction, as with the thesis for the equality of the chances. The results from the empirical research give one actual picture for the influence of the social origin for the career success of the managers and for other researched variables. The results could be interesting for researcher in the field of management, sociology and psychology, for employer, HR specialist etc. |
